This project rehabilitated, updated, and expanded a post-and-beam Eichler-built home originally designed by Anshen and Allen in 1950. Homes built by Eichler are renowned for their mid-century modern design and are very popular with contemporary home buyers, but expectations for bathrooms, kitchens, closets have changed in the interceding decades. This project sought to retain the desirable qualities of the original design, while updating and enlarging the out-dated portions of the house with new finishes, cabinets and fixtures.
